Korean Incheon Airport Selected for U-Airport Initiative

The Korean government has planed to pour two billion won into its U-airport initiative, which will be carried out at Incheon airport. Businesses, including passenger arrivals and departures, entry clearance, inspection, luggage classification, and air traffic control, will be handled by various ubiquitous technologies, such as mobile RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). Several governmental organizations have also formed a group of 15 people to provide consultation on this project.
